We are seeking a Video Editor and Motion Designer on a contract basis to support the XR Tech team in producing high-quality, visually engaging internal marketing videos. This role will help promote XR capabilities—including Codec Avatars, 3D GenAI, and AR sharing—to cross-functional partners, driving alignment and enthusiasm across the organization. This role is preferably hybrid out of Burlingame, CA, but we are open to remote for top talent.

Responsibilities:
- Produce and edit high-quality internal marketing videos showcasing XR Tech developments
- Collaborate across XR Tech pillars to gather footage, visual assets, and product information
- Use Adobe After Effects and/or other tools to bring the XR product vision to life
- Create videos optimized for internal engagement and short-form virality (e.g., IG Reels, YouTube Shorts)
- Apply AI video generation tools, voiceover, and basic cinematography skills to enhance storytelling
- Capture footage using DSLR and mobile devices as needed
- Provide creative direction on visual narratives, transitions, and pacing
- Contribute to concept development and optional storyboarding or marketing material design
- Deliver videos on time, with minimal supervision, while maintaining brand standards and high production value
- Help XR videos stand out among internal content and maintain a strong visual identity
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5–7 years of experience in video editing and post-production, AR/VR visualization, AI video generation, storytelling and cinematography, and internal marketing content creation.
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects (or equivalent motion design tool)
- Advanced video editing experience using Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
- Comfortable capturing video with DSLR/mobile and handling voiceovers/AI-generated voices
- Familiarity with AI video production tools
- Understanding of conceptual storytelling and visual marketing
- Experience in creating viral, short-form video content across social media platforms
Preferred:
- Experience capturing AR/VR headset footage
- Knowledge of Unity, post-processing, and CG pipelines
- Awareness of IG Reels, AR effects, and social media video engagement techniques
- Familiarity with storyboarding, graphic design, and layout
- Understanding of XR and immersive technologies is a plus
