Our Customer is seeking a Catalog Data Specialist (Excel Expert) on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.
As a New Verticals Specialist, you’ll focus on building, updating, and optimizing merchant catalogs that power new verticals. You’ll work with large datasets, improve catalog processes, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure merchants are properly onboarded with the right features.
You will become an expert in product taxonomy and play a key role in shaping how new retail categories come to life on the platform.
Responsibilities:
- Build, clean, and manage merchant inventory catalogs to ensure accuracy and alignment with product taxonomy.
- Support catalog launches and ongoing updates for grocery and retail partners.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline catalog workflows and enhance data accuracy.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Help define success metrics and standard operating procedures for the New Verticals team.
- Work with multiple data sets, performing quality checks to ensure listings are optimized for the best consumer experience.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Thrive as a self-sufficient, detail-oriented contributor who also values teamwork.
- Have strong Google Sheets/Excel skills (including formulas, lookups, pivots, etc.).
- Enjoy managing projects from start to finish and taking full ownership.
- Are proactive in suggesting improvements and process enhancements.

- Build trust through reliability, open communication, and team support.
