Job description

Our Customer is seeking a Project Manager on a contract basis to help support their ongoing business needs. This role is on-site in Chicago, IL.



Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple office fit-out projects while providing program management oversight.
  • Supervise local Project Managers while ensuring projects meet timeline, budget, and quality expectations, along with handling reporting responsibilities.
  • Coordinate and build relationships with internal client stakeholders, including: Audio/Visual teams, security departments, network infrastructure teams, and other technical disciplines as required
  • Provide occasional reporting to executive leadership
  • Oversee local Project Managers who drive weekly meetings
  • Monitor stakeholder coordination with architects and contractors
  • Provide program management across multiple projects
  • Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly reports
  • Ensure consistency and quality across multiple project sites
  • Identify and address program-level risks and dependencies
  • Maintain program documentation and reporting standards
  • Support local PMs with escalated issues or complex coordination
  • Align project objectives with broader organizational goals


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • PMI or PMP certification preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience required.
  • Comprehensive project management (communication, schedule development, coordination)
  • Interpretation and understanding of design drawings and technical specifications
  • Program management and stakeholder reporting: Stakeholder Management
  • Report directly to the Development Manager
  • Strong project and program management expertise
  • Excellent communication and delegation skills
  • Ability to interpret architectural and technical drawings
  • Strategic thinking and resource optimization
  • Leadership and mentoring capabilities
  • Minimal travel should be expected
