We are seeking a Non-IT Project Manager on a contract basis to help support their ongoing business needs. This role is on-site in Whitsett, NC. Free parking is available.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct, and coordinate non-IT projects within manufacturing and engineering environments
- Coordinate projects by developing detailed plans, defining milestones, and integrating technical activities
- Manage cross-functional project execution to ensure alignment with scope, quality, budget, and timeline targets
- Present and explain proposals, reports, and project findings to stakeholders
- Analyze technology requirements, resource needs, and market demand to assess project feasibility
- Manage project budgets, schedules, risks, and issue resolution to ensure successful delivery
- Coordinate vendor relationships and external support activities as needed
- Support team coordination, including task assignment, performance oversight, and staff capability development when required
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting using project management tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related field
- 3–5 years of project management experience
- 2–3 years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production workflows, and quality control systems
- Experience using project management software such as MS Project or Primavera
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Working knowledge of business and management principles, including planning, resource allocation, and production methods
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- PMP certification preferred
- Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience preferred
