Job description
We are an established and growing environmental services firm, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to work in our Bridgeview, Illinois office. This is a full-time salaried position.
Daily activities involve managing customer calls, scheduling estimator visits and projects, and performing miscellaneous office work. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities and Activities
- Responding to customer inquiries
- Providing customers with information about company services
- Scheduling estimates and projects and entering the information into shared calendars
- Preparing project files for onsite supervisors
- Proofing and filing project paperwork
- Processing invoices and payments
- Applying for project permits with municipalities
Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of two years of experience in call management at a contracting or professional services firm
- Excellent customer service experience
- Active listening abilities
- Clear communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving orientation
- Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and preferably QuickBooks
- A strong attention to detail
- A familiarity with the internet
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
