Job description
Part-Time Office Administrator & Bookkeeper
100% Remote
Part-Time, 15-20 hours/week
$21-32/hour
MIUST have strong Quickbooks Online experience
Core Responsibilities
- Categorize and reconcile transactions in QuickBooks Online for assigned clients.
- Record and post journal entries as needed (e.g., depreciation, adjustments, transfers).
- Record payroll journal entries after each payroll run.
- Assist with 1099 reporting and filing, including verifying vendor data and preparing reports.
- Upload and organize monthly financial reporting documents in Google Drive.
- Generate and review standard reports (P&L;, Balance Sheet, reconciliation summaries).
- Update task statuses and notes in Financial Cents and/or Monday.com.
- Communicate missing information or discrepancies to clients in a timely, professional manner.
- Identify and resolve inconsistencies proactively
- Explore and implement time-saving tools and AI integrations to streamline workflows
- Collaborate on process improvements as the firm grows
- Future Responsibility: Generate and send client invoices once consistent accuracy and reliability are demonstrated.
Qualifications/Skills
- Minimum 2 years of QuickBooks Online experience (non-negotiable).
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas and data sorting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Experience as a Bookkeeper and Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable processing.
- Excellent written communication for internal and client-facing correspondence.
- Receptive to feedback and willing to learn Rising Skye Profits’ specific workflows.
- Proven reliability and discretion when handling confidential financial data.
