Job description

Part-Time Administrative Director / Office Manager

Pleasant quiet office on the Upper East Side. In-office hours are very flexible. Position is with a non-profit that helps advocate for hospital patients, accomplishes good for others, and is very rewarding.


The Administrative Director is responsible for overseeing the general administrative functions in the office, creating and maintaining a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, key-record keeping, and coordinating and communicating among staff, colleagues, and volunteers.


Responsibilities (include but not exclusive to):

· Handle correspondence, email messages, and voicemail

· Maintain files

· Coordinate Hospitality Program and supply hospitality apartments

· Process donations (checks and online)

· Periodically act as Hospitality Director on-call

· Coordinate fundraising campaigns

· Other general office duties as needed


Skills:

· Experience as an office manager or administrative assistant

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)

· Experience with general office equipment (e.g. printer, scanner, phone)


Job Type: Part-Time (15-20 hours per week)


Pay: $20-22 / hour

We are is a non-profit charitable organization that assists local hospital patients and their families. We provides complimentary overnight accommodations in their hospitality apartments on the Upper East Side to family members of patients. We train and supervises volunteers who provide friendly visits to Lenox Hill Hospital patients.
