Job description

Our client is seeking an Office and Events Coordinator who thrives at creating seamless

experiences, both behind the scenes and face-to-face. This role is perfect for someone

who loves making spaces feel welcoming and organized, and who finds energy in

connecting people through well-executed events. You notice the small things - the extra

touches that make a meeting room inviting, the timing that makes an event flow

smoothly, the little touches that bring delight to employees and event attendees -

because you know details are what transform good experiences into great ones.

Reporting to the Head of People with a dotted line to the Head of Marketing, you’ll have

an impact on everything from the workplace environment to external events that

showcase the brand.

What You’ll Do

Your work will keep their office running smoothly and shape the way they show up to the

broader community through events both inside and outside of the space.

Who You Are

You’re energized by just making things work - often anticipating needs before anyone

asks. Whether it’s a perfectly set meeting room, a smooth-running office, or a standout

event, you make it look effortless. You’re organized, resourceful, and calm under

pressure, with a knack for juggling multiple priorities and solving problems on the fly.

You enjoy connecting with people and take pride in creating spaces and experiences

that make others feel supported and inspired.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the go-to person for all things in the office: keeping spaces organized, stocked, and welcoming, and being the liaison with building management.
  • Coordinate and deliver memorable events, from all-team gatherings to leadership meetings and client-facing experiences.
  • Manage vendors, budgets, and logistics to ensure every detail is handled and nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Proactively connect with partners and community groups to drive event space rentals and create new opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; some college or experience in communications, hospitality, marketing, or business preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in roles like office management, events coordination, operations, or business development.
  • Comfort with technology, including Google Suite, Slack, and event or project management platforms.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage
  • budgets, vendors, and timelines.
  • Enjoys variety and switching between tasks with ease.
  • Anticipates needs and potential challenges, preparing solutions before problems arise.
  • Takes initiative and finds creative solutions when things don’t go as planned.
  • Communicates clearly and collaborates well with others.
  • Brings a positive, can-do attitude to every interaction.
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to anticipate needs and proactively solve problems.
  • A collaborative, customer-focused mindset and the flexibility to adjust in a fast-moving environment.

Hours and Location

  • Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week
  • Hybrid Setup - 3 days in-office (Cincinnati, OH) and 2 days remote/week

Perks

  • Flexible schedule (around events and in-office needs), 3 weeks of PTO + 11 paid
  • holidays per year
  • Recognition rewards and a monthly stipend for wellness, technology, pet care, or
  • student loans
  • MacBook so you can do your best work
  • 401 (k) benefits, including a 4% match with immediate vesting
  • Truly values-driven team (ask us about it!)

Committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation practices. The expected

total compensation range for this role is $26-$35/hour. Most new hires start toward the

lower to middle end of this range, allowing for meaningful growth within the role as impact and performance increase over time. Final compensation is determined based

on factors like experience and skills alignment.
