Job description

* This is an hybrid position based in South San Francisco. Candidates must currently reside in the San Francisco Bay Area, preferably within a reasonable commuting distance of South San Francisco.

Description:

We are creating healthy food options for young growing minds! We need a part-time team member to manage all of company's sampling needs on a weekly basis. This includes sending product samples and collateral to influencers, sales prospects, press/media and consumers. This position will also need to help manage and maintain the sampling supplies at the Brainiac warehouse.

Weekly Responsibilities:

- Check requests on 4 different Sampling trackers for any new “sends” for the week (trackers include: Sales, PR, Consumer and Social)

- Package up requested products and collateral meticulously and beautifully

Note: Packages are a reflection of our Brand and Company and a high degree of attention to detail is required from understanding what products must be included to ensuring they are presented well. Resources will be available to assist in learning the Brainiac product portfolio and to answer questions initially during training/ramp up.

- Once packages are boxed and taped, generate and print shipping labels on label machine

- Drop off packages to local FedEx, UPS or USPS

- Ensure Brainiac warehouse has ample supplies of all products and collateral once sends for week are completed, and if not, fill out request to Operations to receive more product and/or order supplies ie boxes and tissue paper

- Tidy warehouse and reorganize products

-Tidy and maintain shared office spaces, keep office supplies stocked, sort mail, and help keep the office clean and organized.

- Monitor the customer service inbox and ensure customer inquiries are handled promptly.

Note: The above work can fluctuate on a weekly basis. Average 5-8/hours per week, but on occasion there may be 10-12 hours of work and or rare occasions there may be 2-4 hours tops. This all depends on the volume of send requests. The job will require coming to the Brainiac office at least once to twice per week.

Skills Needed:

- Passion for and ability to execute on beautifully packaged boxes (the ideal candidate loves the idea of wrapping gifts at the holidays, not the person who dreads that time of year!)

- Excellent organization and follow through

- Great communication skills
