Job description

Administrative Assistant

HBT: About us: We are a Community based non profit that abates graffiti, plants trees and conducts other Greening activities.

Position Summary

The Administrative Assistant works collaboratively with all staff to support the mission of HBT and represents its values when interacting with members of the community. This position is a key link in supporting the efficient and smooth day-to-day operations of the organization.

Part time 25-30 hours (flexible hours: for example: hours: 9am-3:30pm)

Key Responsibilities

  • Office work and field support
    • General administrative duties including oversight of staff and program documentation.
    • Drafting communications, managing emails, preparing reports, and maintaining appropriate filing systems.
    • Office management duties include troubleshooting technology and coordinating with outside vendors for services.
  • Skills and Requirements
    • Provide support to fellow staff, coordination services support
    • 2 years’ work experience
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Strong verbal/written communication skills.
    • Knowledge of basic computer programs including Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,) is required. Prefer some experience with Zoom and Google Meets.
    • Ability to be flexible while handling multiple tasks, projects, and remain effective and professional.
    • Multitasking with a variety of people, ie: With public and government agencies staff.

Pay Rate: $25-28 Commensurate with experience
