Job description

Title: Office Manager

Location: Naperville, IL Office

Hourly Range: $20 - $25/hr, commensurate with experience

Hours per week: 30 - 40 (flexible)

Ideal Candidate: Positive and pleasant with prior experience in an accounting firm (preferred and not required)

Our client is a small, tight-knit boutique CPA firm located in Naperville, IL. We are seeking to add an Office Manager to our team. We believe in the value of relationships. We view every client relationship like a partnership, and truly believe that our success is a result of your success.

Position Requirements:
  1. Well developed verbal and written communication skills
  2. Ability to organize, manage and execute responsibilities with minimal supervision

Responsibilities & Skills:
  1. Answer phones
  2. Respond to all emails in a timely manner
  3. Pay bills using QuickBooks
  4. File and maintain organization
  5. Prepare documents for presentation and/or mailing
  6. Learn and keep informed of changes in company software
  7. Tech Savvy a plus
  8. Assist founder with in-person seminars, lectures and events where company holds a booth (all in the neighborhood)
  9. Available on Saturday's during tax season (Feb, March & April)
  10. Correspond with IRS and state tax agencies
  11. Data entry
  12. Some accounting knowledge preferable
  13. Order supplies
  14. Research a variety of items
  15. Ability to get along well with others
  16. Microsoft Office skills (5 years preferred)
  17. Post on and update company FB, IG and LinkedIn accounts
  18. Pleasant demeanor and positive personality
