They later branched out to other services, which is now a multinational professional services network with offices in over 150 countries and territories around the world. With more than 100,000 professionals, they provide audit and assurance, tax, consulting, and risk and financial advisory services to a broad cross-section of the largest corporations and governmental agencies.
We are seeking a contract Onboarding Specialist to support our client's ongoing business needs. This role is 100% remote.
The Onboarding Specialist facilitates a smooth and seamless on-boarding process for all newly hired employees, including Experienced and Campus Full-Time employees and interns. Supports all on-boarding activities once the candidate has officially accepted their offer with the company. Serves as the main point of contact through the new hire on-boarding process and orientation program. The role liaises directly with CTS, Talent Acquisition COE, Business Advisors and other areas within the organization, such as Payroll and ITS.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with Talent Acquisition in COE and CTS, to take ownership of each candidate in a timely fashion once they have accepted their offer of employment.
- Acts as a dependable, responsive point of contact for new hires and other Talent stakeholders, while maintaining effective communications and follow-through.
- Ensure all materials sent to the new hires are accurate and that the new hire understands their responsibilities, deadlines and location for their W2D session.
- Resolve in a timely fashion any delays or obstacles in the on-boarding process, including reminders to the new hires and requesting any missing information.
- Utilize HR Online to monitor and manage the on-boarding process. Proactively review all on-boarding tracking reports for red flags.
- Escalate any background investigation issues or changes to a candidate’s start date
- Serves as liaison in immigration process.
- Participates in special project assignments to develop world class processes and tools for CTS ELE and overall CTS.
- As part of a team, acts as a dependable, responsive point of contact for Prehires and/or other Talent stakeholders responding to questions in a fast-paced environment.
- Helps to maintain the shared EH mailbox with timely replies and effective communications and follow-through.
- Use advanced Excel and analytical skills in monitoring reports to determine if candidates are approved to start.
- Collaborate with team leads on discrepancies that need resolution.
- Supports the ELE EH Preboarding Manager with ongoing projects and initiatives.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience or related experience
- HRIS system experience (ServiceNow)
- Ability to work in an ambiguous environment required
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, high volume and deadline driven environment
- Ability to identify issues and escalate accordingly
- Ability to work with minimal direction
- High degree of professionalism and integrity and ability to work in a highly confidential environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (particulary Excel) preferred
- Srong critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience working independently as well as collaboratively across large teams
