We are looking for an Onsite Event Coordinator on a contract basis who can help support our client’s business needs. This role is onsite in Chicago, IL.
The individual in this temporary role will be supporting programs that support professionals and their guests at an external location. Workers will assist with event setup, greet invited guests at registration table, and assist with check in.
**One-Day Event**
Responsibilities:
- Greeting/checking in guests
- Use iPads with OnArrival app to check professionals and their guests into the event
- Direct guests to registration and coat check
- Answer participant/guest questions regarding the event
- Other on site responsibilities as needed by Lead Planner and/or Project Manager
Qualifications:
- A University degree is preferred
- Event planning experience
- Attire: The event attire is cocktail. Registration workers can dress in black pants (no jeans or rips), skirt, or dress with a black shirt (no t-shirt)/sweater. Comfortable shoes are recommended and tennis shoes are appropriate.
- Meals included: Yes
- Parking: Self-parking is available for purchase in the building's parking garage for (USD)15. It is reimburseable with receipt.
