Business Analyst (100% Remote)

We are looking for a Business Analyst on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.

Responsibilities:

• Act as liaison between business users and IT.
• Recommend IT-based solutions to address specific business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, both internal and external, on the implementation of system and business processes.
• Define system scopes and objectives and develop required documentation.
• Evaluate new software products to determine applicability to current and future IT environments.
• Manage vendor relationships, including issue notifications and follow-ups until resolution.
• Facilitate requirements gathering.
• Document requirements and use cases.
• Support the creation and maintenance of other project documentation.
• Document UAT test cases and plans as needed.
• Support UAT execution.
• Maintain project-related collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams channels.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a true business analyst, gathering requirements, problem statements, and pain points from end users, and translating them into system-based business solutions.
• Experience working with architects to scope solutions.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Big 4 consulting experience is a plus.
• Business Analyst certification preferred but not required.
• The role is focused on business analysis, not data or systems analysis.
