Job description

About the Part-Time Operations Manager

One of the top early-stage tech startups in Phoenix, AZ. We have an exciting business, happy customers, and we’re looking for your help to continue to grow! Are you a passionate, entrepreneurial person who gets excited to make a difference? As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing work and projects under the various operations functions, working directly with the Director of Operations. In addition to managing our baseline responsibilities in the areas of people operations and finance, the operations team collaborates with other departments to listen, understand, and help remove friction. We love our jobs and want you to love yours, too. No politics. Every day is new. What you do has a direct and immediate impact.

About Us

Founded on the idea that cutting-edge technology and human-centered design can change medicine. Called the “Uber for medical experts”, combines advanced workflow automation and a national network of top practicing doctors and nurses, to create a disruptively efficient method for companies to find and engage medical practitioners. A two-sided marketplace, and we’re proud of our very high user satisfaction on both sides. Our customers are companies, like hospitals, insurance carriers, law firms, and third-party administrators.

About Your Team

We are at an exciting stage. We are a company that wins together, so on the Operations team we often wear multiple hats to ensure the right resources are in the right place to accelerate growth without sacrificing quality. Areas of responsibility in this role will vary as the business needs - they will routinely include work in finance and in people operations but may also include projects supporting company operations, marketing, sales operations, clinical operations, and customer success. These opportunities will change and evolve as the company develops, so an adaptable and passionate individual who loves the challenge of learning new things will thrive in this position. This is a unique opportunity to refine operational skills, level-up technical skills, and leave a long-lasting imprint on how our functions operationally.

• Managing complete payroll and compliance records, responsibilities, and reporting.

• Manage and deliver employee engagement and morale activities across the company.

• Manage the processes for sourcing, hiring, and onboarding and offboarding of team members, as needed.

• Represent the brand and values by giving an excellent experience to each prospective, new, and established team member.

• Participate in various projects to support company-wide operations and to help the Marketing, Sales Ops, Clinical Ops, and Customer Success teams, as needed.

• Develop and nurture strong cross-team partnerships, driving business results and inspiring a culture of empathy, collaboration, and accountability.

• Grow and learn in your skills. You’ve got a great team around you, leverage this unique opportunity to grow faster than you could elsewhere.
