Job Description:
The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and improving the Agency’s day to day home care operations. The Operations Manager will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to determine the best operational practice, adjust resource allocation as needs change, and ensure the seamless integration between caregivers and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise caregivers, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and resources to provide exceptional care to our clients.
- Develop and implement staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all clients' needs.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to staff members.
- Client Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and their families, addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly and effectively.
- Conduct initial assessments of client needs and collaborate with our care team to develop personalized care plans.
- Regularly review and update care plans to reflect changes in clients' conditions or preferences.
- Operations Oversight:
- Monitor day-to-day operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance measures to uphold the highest standards of care.
- Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Financial Management:
- Manage budgetary allocations for staffing, supplies, and other operational expenses, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost-saving initiatives while maintaining profitability.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Keep leadership informed of operational issues, staffing, and utilization of resources, and constantly evaluate all processes for areas of improvement.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as human resources and finance, to streamline operations and address cross-functional challenges.
Who you are:
- Experience in home care is REQUIRED
- You have a minimum of three (3) years experience in operations, logistics, or staffing is required.
- Preference for experience in staffing or logistics in a healthcare or staffing agency environment. Experience managing others is preferred.
- You have experience managing and driving projects forward independently.
- You’re process-driven, extremely detail-oriented, and highly organized.
- You’re innovative and value efficiency. You always look for ways to improve an established process.
- You have positive energy. You love collaborating and building interpersonal relationships with others.
- You have exceptional problem-solving skills – an analytical, innovative, and creative mindset
- You have the ability to structure and manage multiple high priority items; you thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- You’re a great communicator and use the right medium for conversations. You know when to chat in person, over email, over teams, etc.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in home care services.
Pay starting at $60,000.00 with potential for bonuses.
