Job description

The Mom Project is excited to partner with our client, a financial technology leader and bank holding company with a mission to power the banking industry’s branchless future.


We are seeking a Subpoena Processing Operations Specialist for the accurate and timely processing of legal documents, including garnishments and subpoenas, within a law enforcement or legal department. This role involves managing the administrative aspects of legal and financial orders, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, managing in Salesforce, and supporting law enforcement personnel by handling critical documentation with precision within service level agreements.


This role is 100% remote; the candidate must work 7/8 AM- 4/5 PM in their respective time zone.



Responsibilities:

  • Process legal documents such as subpoenas and garnishments accurately and within required timelines
  • Review and validate the authenticity and accuracy of subpoenas
  • Ensure timely and correct service of subpoenas to individuals or organizations
  • Collect, prepare, and organize requested documents or evidence in response to legal orders
  • Manage records, case activity, and documentation within a case management or CRM system
  • Coordinate with legal counsel and law enforcement personnel to ensure compliance with legal requirements
  • Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, service level agreements, and internal policies
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve issues or discrepancies related to subpoenas and garnishments
  • Stay current on changes to laws, regulations, and procedures related to legal document processing
  • Provide administrative support to law enforcement or legal teams by handling sensitive documentation with accuracy and discretion


Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a court, judicial, or law enforcement environment, handling subpoenas or garnishments
  • Experience in a regulated environment (banking/financial services preferred)
  • Experience working with federal and state agencies
  • Experience working with deadlines, government requests, and legal documents
  • Ability to run database queries (SQL) and manage structured data
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently, professionally, and independently while meeting strict deadlines
