Our Customer is an American financial services and digital payments company based in San Francisco, California. They’re working to help their diverse audiences — sellers, individuals, artists, fans, developers, and all the people in between — overcome barriers to access the economy.

We are seeking a highly motivated Paid Media Specialist on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with leadership to manage large-scale paid media budgets across multiple performance marketing channels
  • Support strategy, execution, and optimization across SEM, paid social, affiliate, and other acquisition channels
  • Collaborate on quarterly testing roadmaps and tactical plans to meet internal KPIs
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to align on campaign performance, creative strategy, product positioning, landing page testing, and audience targeting
  • Oversee weekly and monthly reporting on campaign performance, goals, and key metrics
  • Execute structured testing strategies to validate hypotheses and improve campaign performance
  • Optimize campaign structure, targeting, audience segmentation, creatives, and bidding strategies
  • Conduct research on industry trends, platform updates, and competitive insights to inform marketing strategies
  • Partner with analytics, data science, product, and creative teams to build and scale acquisition programs

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of experience in performance marketing, managing paid media campaigns across one or more channels
  • Experience managing large-scale budgets and optimizing campaigns to meet or exceed KPI targets
  • Hands-on experience with platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, TikTok, affiliate networks, or similar tools
  • Ability to develop strategies and identify opportunities to scale growth across channels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Experience executing, testing, and optimizing campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
  • Passion for marketing with a commitment to staying updated on industry trends and platform changes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant advertising platform certifications
