Job description
The Mom Project is excited to partner with a boutique law practice with offices in Honolulu and Dallas looking for a 100% remote paralegal with experience in corporate law and real estate to join our team. Our practice is focused on transactional law, including private equity investments, corporate matters including drafting LLC documents, and commercial real estate, including commercial leasing. Our clients are high net worth individuals who expect concierge-level service from a small law practice. We have a small number of long-term clients. The candidate will ideally be on Pacific or Central time.
The Paralegal will have the following core responsibilities:
- Draft, review, revise and proofread commercial real estate documents using the firm's template system, including conveyance documents and commercial leases
- Draft corporate formation documents using the firm's templates, including limited liability company operating agreements
- Maintain and organize client files in our practice management system, Lawmatics
- Correspond with clients and third-parties in a timely manner and following up regarding legal matters
- Proofreading
The Paralegal will have the following qualifications and skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, and proficiency with Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack
- Background in using any major practice management software with a preference in understanding Lawmatics
- Superior proofreading skills
- Working familiarity with commercial leasing and complex real estate transactions
- Interest in working in a startup culture with the opportunity to create systems, policies and procedures for the practice

- Multiple compensation programs available, including quarterly bonus based on KPIs
