Job description

$30/hour

The Mom Project is excited to partner with our client, an immigration and business law firm. They ’re looking for an experienced immigration Paralegal to join their team!

  • Organize and prepare immigration petition packages for review and filing.
  • Prepare marriage green card petitions, fiancee visa applications, and green card applications for family members
  • Gather needed information and documents required for the preparation of petitions and applications.
  • Ensure that clients are kept apprised of the progress of their cases.
  • Enter and maintain data in the firm's immigration case management system.
  • Assist in responding to immigration inquiries in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • A minimum of one full year of immigration law related work experience under the supervision of a licensed attorney
  • Experience in organizing and preparing immigration petition packages for review and filing
  • Solid written and verbal communication including client service skills.
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or French as well as English preferred
  • Attention to detail
  • Software skills including MS-Office (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Document management tools including eImmigration
