Job description

  • Fully Remote but must sit in Houston, TX
  • Looking for someone familiar with filing legal documents within Harris County (the county that includes all of the city of Houston)
  • Part-Time, 1099 Contract - starting with 6 months
  • Hourly: $30
  • 20-25/hrs a week, with room for more, not to exceed 40

Seeking a part time virtual paralegal with an estate planning, transactional and business background who is familiar with West Law (Westlaw is an online legal research service and proprietary database for lawyers and legal professionals) and is familiar with filing legal documents with the various Harris County and adjacent counties' courts.

Proficiency in Word is required. Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not a requirement. No travel nor weekend work is required. Hours are flexible as long as the tasks assigned are completed within the reasonable time frames as requested. The opportunity provides for the possibility of a temp to direct hire at some juncture.
