We are seeking a Part-time Bookkeeper on a contract basis to provide accounting support for the property management team and serve as a key member of the management team. This role is hybrid in Tupelo, MS.
Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable
- Make collections calls
- Enter cash receipts
- Enter billing adjustments
- Perform tenant ledger reconciliations
Lease Analysis
- Review leases and leasing activity on permanent leases to ensure accurate billings
- Review and/or calculate additional charges as applicable
Skills and Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred
- 3–5 years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and real estate accounting software preferred
- Adaptability: Maintains effectiveness in varying environments, tasks, and responsibilities, or with various types of people
- Planning and Organizing: Establishes a course of action to accomplish goals, evaluates results, develops schedules and task assignments, orchestrates multiple activities, and uses resources effectively
