Job description
Core Responsibilities
* Cultivate a targeted list of sophisticated buyers - Brokers and Employers with 1000-5000 employees - and build the kind of rapport that turns a cold list into a pipeline.
* Reach out through the channels that make sense for each contact, with a human touch. Not AI mass emails or spray-and-pray cadences.
* Run short qualifying conversations to confirm fit and timing.
* Hand off warm, well-contextualized meetings to our closers.
* Keep the CRM honest and current so nothing falls through the cracks.
Qualifications/Skills
* A year or two of outreach-heavy work. Sales, recruiting, account management, fundraising, teaching, or anything else that taught you to talk to people and keep track of them.
* Strong written communication.
* Comfort with the phone. You pick it up without flinching and take “no” as information rather than rejection.
* Organized and coachable. You can follow a process without losing your voice in it.
* Integrity above everything. We'd rather miss opportunities than burn partner trust.
Company Benefits/Perks
$25–28/hour base plus $125–175 per qualified meeting, paid when the meeting is accepted as qualified by your AE. Target earnings roughly $36–42K annualized at target activity. We pay on quality, not volume. The bonus structure is built so that strong, well-qualified meetings pay off, not junk bookings.
