Part-Time Coverage Attorney

Our Client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Coverage Attorney to support our legal team across family law and housing law matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed attorney seeking flexible, fully remote work with structured responsibilities and on-the-job training.

Key Responsibilities

• Appear in court remotely via Zoom for scheduled hearings
• Provide court coverage for both family law and housing law matters
• Draft legal documents, including motions, orders, and discovery materials
• Assist with discovery and case preparation in family law matters
• Communicate with clients as needed regarding case updates and requirements
• Draft and send court orders related to housing law cases
• Conduct a daily check-in to confirm completion of assignments and discuss any outstanding items

Practice Areas

• Family Law: Drafting, discovery, limited client communication, and court appearances
• Housing Law: Court coverage, drafting, and distribution of court orders

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in Illinois (required)
• No prior experience required; training will be provided
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a remote environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
