Job description
A partner of The Mom Project in the automotive industry is seeking a contract Data Coordinator to help support their business needs.
The main function of a Data Coordinator is to operate data entry devices, such as a keyboard or computer, to verify and input data. A typical data coordinator is responsible for accurate information documentation and personal project management. Technical skills include documentation skills and time management.
We are seeking part-time students currently enrolled at Western Kentucky University or any 4-year institution (ideally sophomores). Please share your schedule during the interview process.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains a system for managing office routine
- Assists in planning, conducting, and evaluating projects
- Monitors programs and projects
- Frequent contact with others outside the work group
- Maintains technical expertise and procedural knowledge
- Keeps the supervisor advised of the work in process
- Assumes operational assignments as a working member
- Assists in the coordination of special or unusual projects
Skills and Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
- Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Completion of a speed and accuracy data entry test (May be required).
Hours and Location:
- Monday - Friday, 32 hours/week. For part-time students currently enrolled at Western Kentucky University or any 4-year institution (ideally sophomores). The students' work schedule will be based on their academic schedule.
- This role is on-site in Bowling Green, KY
