Zoom Deposition Videographer (Chicago Based)
1099/Freelance

Talent Pay Rate: $25/hour
Our client is seeking a Remote and/or In-Person Deposition Videographer to host Remote Zoom and/or In-Person depositions for legal depositions.
The ideal candidate is tech savvy with strong attention to detail. In this role, you must record every minute of testimony, and follow a specific script for how to start, stop and manage breaks during the deposition to ensure recordings and timestamps are accurate and verifiable.

Responsibilities:
- Provide remote and/or in-person coverage for legal depositions in the Chicago area
- Set up video conference Zoom rooms with multiple audio and video recording backups
- Follow script to identify when participants are on or off the record, and follow directions of attorney’s to properly timestamp and notate any breaks during the proceeding
- Work closely with company to communicate any issues during meetings, pass along order requests or other important information from clients
- Upload video and audio files to company servers upon completion of each deposition
Qualifications/Skills:
- Notary Public in the state of Illinois (or ability to become one)
- Tech savvy. Ability to utilize digital camera equipment, Zoom video conferencing software as well as basic video and audio software to both record and process videos
- Sharp attention to detail
- Timely and reliable. It is important to be prompt for all video depositions to ensure all attendees are online and recording devices are ready
- Fast and reliable WiFi/Internet connection. Minimum 25 Mbps download speeds and 5Mbps upload
- Ability to follow and adapt to industry and company specific guidelines and processes
- Strong professional standards, the content you review may be sensitive and confidential
