We are seeking a part-time Senior Content Strategist on a contract basis to support our Customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.
This strategic role is responsible for shaping and delivering content strategies that support the customer journey while driving measurable outcomes for the online store and marketplace.
The Senior Content Strategist collaborates cross-functionally with teams including Integrated Marketing Programs, Digital Experiences, Core Content Production, Product Marketing, and Omnichannel Activation. Responsibilities include developing compelling content strategies and execution plans that align with business objectives, address customer needs, and enhance the overall customer experience across digital touchpoints.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy for the online store and marketplace
- Translate customer journey insights into actionable content plans across all lifecycle stages
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to curate, source, and refine content assets, including blogs, videos, case studies, white papers, e-books, and infographics
- Partner with channel leads to determine content placement and promotion strategies across digital ecosystems
- Measure content performance using data and analytics to inform optimization and scale high-performing initiatives
- Identify opportunities to leverage generative AI tools to enhance content strategy and production at scale
- Conduct content audits and oversee publishing within content management and project management systems
- Manage content localization efforts to ensure consistent global messaging
- Contribute to content budget planning, forecasting, and spend tracking within defined targets
- Support the execution of demand generation programs aligned to marketing promotion strategies
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
- 6+ years of B2B high-tech marketing experience
- 4+ years of digital and content marketing experience
- Strong understanding of customer journey mapping and content lifecycle planning
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to develop and execute marketing promotion plans and demand generation programs
- Familiarity with multiple digital demand channels and their application within integrated promotion strategies
- Ability to critique and provide feedback on content design and delivery methods
- Strong collaboration and leadership skills
- Experience using performance metrics to drive content optimization and scale
- Working familiarity with content management and digital publishing platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of enterprise technology platforms such as ERP systems
- Experience incorporating generative AI tools into content production and strategy
- Experience managing global content localization initiatives
