We are seeking a Supply Planning Data Analyst on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.


This job contributes to organizational success by researching, analyzing, and modeling both customer and operational data used to develop and present omni-channel insights across enterprise product teams, specifically supporting the co-op brands Sourcing and Supply Planning Team. This position works collaboratively within the CB Supply Planning team to compile and analyze relevant data in order to positively impact the co-op brands supply chain.


The Data Analyst supports individual projects that directly impact stakeholders’ products while consulting and partnering with other analysts across the organization. This position uses SQL to create complex datasets and Sigma to effectively communicate insights through visualizations. Models and acts in accordance with guiding values and the organizational mission.


Part-time, 20 hours/week with flexible work hours



Responsibilities:

  • Work with Supply Planning Team Members to understand data needs & visualizations to support the outcome.
  • Create a draft and testing process utilizing Snowflake data and Sigma to meet goals/outcomes as scoped by the Supply Planning Team
  • Analyzes and mines multiple data sources to discover relevant supply chain insights
  • Engages in quantitative analysis on many non-standard and unique business problems to deliver actionable output.
  • Evaluates analytical findings to ensure accurate interpretation of data and development of meaningful data mining results.
  • Presents and communicates results of data mining efforts in a manner consistent with the target audience.
  • Performs analysis to support stakeholders with supply chain, data, and KPIs to support the identification of customer and business problems.
  • Builds and maintains frameworks that support business stakeholder processes in support of delivery of customer insights.
  • Builds reporting that supports the delivery of insights or capabilities.
  • Partners with the Senior Manager on setting priorities for Supply Planning Analytics
  • Ad-hoc analysis as assigned


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience required. Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Science preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in SQL/Snowflake
  • 2+ years of experience in building out visuals and reports in Sigma
  • 1-3 years order management or retail experience; understands OMS, digital, retail landscape preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience with analytics and statistics
  • Experience building toolsets that support process and standard reporting using a common data toolset, including MS tools, Tableau, OMS
  • Working closely with team members to transition Dashboards from Tableau to Sigma
  • Experience managing projects & timelines
  • Skills in building complex statistical models to influence strategic initiatives
  • Ability to develop and implement complex analytics techniques to support stakeholders’ strategic initiatives. Query and extract data from multiple sources, design and construct complex analyses, and communicate results and recommendations across the organization.
  • Experience querying large data sets and familiarity with database structure
  • Flexible in one's viewpoints and positions in order to support the direction taken by others at the organization.
  • Uses business knowledge, innovative thinking, and sound judgment in the solution of problems or the pursuit of business opportunities.
  • Consolidates information from various sources, including feedback from others, to make recommendations
