Firm Size: Small CPA Firm (4 CPA’s)
Employment Type: Seasonal; Part-Time (25 +/- hours a week, 2/1/2026 through 4/15/2026)

We’re looking for a motivated part-time, seasonal Tax Associate to join our growing practice and play a key role in client service and technical execution.
Responsibilities:
Tax (95%)
- Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts and nonprofits
- Conduct tax research and stay current on changes in tax laws
- Assist in tax planning and advisory services for clients
- Communicate the results of tax returns to partners and clients
Audit Support (5%)
- Assist in planning and executing financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations
- Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures
- Prepare audit workpapers and documentation in accordance with professional standards
- Communicate findings and recommendations to partners
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (CPA or CPA-eligible preferred)
- 10 years of experience in public accounting preparing tax returns
- Strong understanding of tax regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., CCH ProSystem fx, or similar)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment
