Job description

The Mom Project is excited to partner with a growing IP Boutique practice that specializes in working with start-ups and small companies to build and maintain high-quality patent portfolios that maximize value. We work with great clients who do very interesting things.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of patent prosecution experience and a desire to learn how to draft excellent patent applications, meet client expectations, and grow within a dynamic IP practice. Particular responsibilities include:

• Reviewing invention disclosure documents to draft new patent applications

• Drafting responses to correspondence from the USPTO and international patent offices

• Analyzing patents and other prior art in the context of patentability, freedom to operate, and/or due diligence analyses

The position is 100% remote, with flexible hours and scheduling with the ability to move into a permanent part-time position.
