Job description

Hours: 10 hrs/week for ~2 years

Location: Fully Remote


Our Client is seeking a reliable Patent Renewal Specialist to manage the timely renewal and maintenance of patents across our portfolio companies. This role is fully remote, highly flexible, and requires no meetings. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to independently handle USPTO filings and deadlines.


Responsibilities:

  • Renew and maintain existing patents with the USPTO.
  • Track deadlines and ensure all renewal filings are completed accurately and on time.
  • Communicate with the USPTO or agents as needed.
  • Provide brief written updates confirming task completion.
  • Potential assistance with new patent filings.


Qualifications:

  • Active USPTO registration or license enabling renewal filings.
  • Experience with patent maintenance and USPTO procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability.
