Job description
As a remote physical therapy Billing Care Coordinator you will be responsible for managing the billing and insurance processes for patients undergoing physical therapy.
This role involves verifying insurance coverage, obtaining authorization as needed, submitting claims, following up on outstanding payments, and communicating with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers to resolve billing issues.
Additionally, the coordinator may also assist with scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and providing administrative support to the physical therapy team. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills are essential for this role.
