The Mom Project is excited to partner with KARL STORZ US in their search for a Payroll Tax Compliance Specialist.

As a system supplier, the company combines its expertise in endoscopy with software solutions to achieve integration in the operating room and to support clinical processes and resource management.

Are you a payroll tax expert with a passion for precision, compliance, and continuous improvement? We’re seeking a dynamic Payroll Tax Compliance Specialist to join our fast-paced, high-impact team. If you thrive on solving complex tax puzzles, navigating multi-state regulations, and driving operational excellence—this role is for you.



Responsibilities:

  • Lead payroll tax compliance for 2,700+ multi-state employees using ADP Workforce Now.
  • Own federal, state, and local payroll tax filings, reconciliations, and audits.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on wage and hour laws, FLSA, garnishments, and Regular Rate of Pay.
  • Research and implement tax law changes, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing across all frequencies.
  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, Accounting, Sales Compensation, and IT to optimize systems and workflows.
  • Drive continuous improvement by refining procedures, enhancing controls, and mentoring team members.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5–7 years of payroll and multi-state tax experience (7–10 preferred).
  • Deep knowledge of FLSA, IRS regulations, and payroll tax compliance.
  • Expertise in ADP Workforce Now and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
  • CPP designation preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, customer-focused mindset with a drive for excellence.
