Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.

Our Customer is seeking a highly skilled contract PC Technician to join their dynamic team. This role is responsible for supporting the IT Support Services department by performing change/add/move/hardware testing/asset deployment tasks that improves IT efficiencies, facilitate ticket resolution, reduce customer downtime, and help maintain SLA levels. This role is onsite in Peachtree Corners, GA.


Responsibilities:

  • Process new hire computer setups
  • Hardware testing and quality checks
  • Prepare and meet scheduling requirements for delivery of new hire equipment
  • Process computers and equipment for terminating employees & contractors
  • Evaluate, schedule, and perform warranty repairs for returned equipment
  • Image, re-image, and prep computers for use based on direction from various IT Operations teams
  • Provide customer move support
  • Process termed and legal hold hardware
  • Identify efficiencies in established processes about job functionality
  • Deliver IT equipment to local ISI office locations.
  • Move incoming IT inventory into locked storage, assist with low-level asset entry, and maintain the organization of the inventory room under the direction of the inventory team.
  • Create IT self-help articles according to the process.
  • Various other duties and tasks required by the IT Support Services management team.


Skills & Experience:

  • Preferred minimum of 2 years of college (related trade school acceptable) or 1+ years of experience in related field(s)
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs.
  • Able to use a hand truck to move large boxes and bulk items.
  • Able to provide own transportation (required)
  • Subject to a background check
  • Required: Strong communication, scheduling, and process skills
  • Required: Strong customer service skills
  • Preferred: Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and major computer components (desktop, laptop, monitor, keyboard, etc.)
  • Preferred: Strong knowledge of computer imaging technologies
