Job description

Our customer is a leading global media and entertainment company that creates and distributes a large portfolio of content and brands across television, film, and streaming and is available in over 200 countries and territories and over 45 languages. Headquartered in New York, NY with more than 30 office locations in the United States.


We are seeking a People & Culture Coordinator on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is hybrid (3 days on-site and 2 days remote/week) in Atlanta, GA.



Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update employee human resource records and personnel documentation
  • Process and verify documentation related to staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, and classifications
  • Review employment applications to assess applicant qualifications and eligibility
  • Record and update employee data, including personal information, earnings, and performance reports
  • Respond to inquiries regarding exams, eligibility, compensation, benefits, and HR policies
  • Conduct background and reference checks by coordinating with law enforcement, previous employers, and references

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 0 to 3 years of experience in human resources or administrative roles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
