Job description
Our Customer is an American financial services and digital payments company based in San Francisco, California. They’re working to help their diverse audiences — sellers, individuals, artists, fans, developers, and all the people in between — overcome barriers to access the economy.
We are seeking a highly motivated People Operations Analyst on a contract basis to support the Global People Operations team. Reporting to the Global Scaled Operations Lead, you will serve as a Workday subject-matter expert with a focus on data hygiene, reporting, and scalable solutions for mass data changes. You will partner with colleagues across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas to ensure accurate data, seamless processes, and operational excellence.
This role is 100% remote.
Responsibilities:
- Execute and validate mass employee data changes using EIBs with accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain and create custom Workday reports, including scheduled reporting
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries and global employee data requests
- Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and integrity across HR systems
- Act as a subject matter expert on Workday business processes and transaction flows
- Optimize business processes by leveraging knowledge of Workday architecture and lifecycle
- Analyze trends and identify opportunities to improve People data processes and systems
- Develop and implement scalable solutions for HR data and operational challenges
- Train and upskill team members on reporting, EIBs, and system processes
- Document, maintain, and organize operational procedures and workflows
- Collaborate with global People Operations teams across multiple regions
- Support additional HRIS and operational tasks as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Workday, including EIBs and business process transactions
- 3+ years of experience in People Operations, HRIS, or HR Systems roles
- Experience with report creation and maintenance (calculated fields experience is a plus)
- Proficiency in G Suite, Slack, or similar collaboration tools
- Ability to work effectively across global teams and time zones
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- Strong understanding of data accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality requirements
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
