Job description

Our Customer is an American financial services and digital payments company based in San Francisco, California. They’re working to help their diverse audiences — sellers, individuals, artists, fans, developers, and all the people in between — overcome barriers to access the economy.


We are seeking a highly motivated People Operations Analyst on a contract basis to supportthe Global People Operations team. Reporting to the Global Scaled Operations Lead, this role serves as a Workday subject-matter expert with a focus on data hygiene, reporting, and scalable solutions for mass data changes.


The People Operations Analyst partners with colleagues across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas to ensure data accuracy, seamless processes, and operational excellence.


This role is 100% remote.



Responsibilities:

  • Execute and validate mass employee data changes using EIBs, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Maintain custom Workday reports and create scheduled recurring reports
  • Serve as the first point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries, responding to global employee data requests with accuracy and discretion
  • Act as a subject-matter expert for Workday end-to-end business processes and transaction flows
  • Apply deep knowledge of Workday architecture and transaction lifecycles to improve process efficiency and data integrity
  • Identify trends and perform analysis to propose and implement scalable solutions to people data and process challenges
  • Train and upskill team members on reporting and mass data loads
  • Document, organize, and maintain HRIS operational processes and procedures
  • Collaborate with global People Operations teams across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas
  • Perform additional HRIS- or People Operations–related duties as assigned


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of hands-on Workday experience, including EIBs and end-to-end business process transactions
  • 3+ years of experience in People Operations, HRIS, or HR Systems roles with focus on process execution and optimization
  • Experience in maintaining custom Workday reports
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, high-volume environments
  • Ability to work effectively across global teams and time zones
  • Strong proficiency with collaboration tools such as G Suite and Slack
  • High ethical standards when handling confidential and sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with advanced Workday reporting, including calculated fields
