Job Title: Personal Injury Case Coordinator (Paralegal)

Location: Remote

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Personal Injury Case Coordinator to join our medical practice. This position will focus on tracking the status of personal injury patients who have been treated in our practice, ensuring that we have up-to-date information on the progress of their cases, and confirming when a case has settled. Prior experience in personal injury law or working with personal injury patients in a medical setting is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Case Status Monitoring: Track and maintain current information on the status of personal injury cases for patients treated at our practice, ensuring accurate updates are regularly reflected in our system.

  1. Follow-Up with Attorneys and Insurance Companies: Actively communicate with personal injury attorneys, insurance adjusters, and other relevant parties to obtain status updates and track down information related to case settlements.

  1. Settlement Confirmation: Verify when personal injury cases have settled, coordinating with attorneys and other stakeholders to obtain necessary settlement documentation and updates.

  1. Document Coordination: Ensure that all medical records, bills, and treatment summaries are appropriately submitted to attorneys or insurance companies as required for the case.

  1. Case Information Management: Organize and maintain accurate case records, both electronically and physically, for personal injury patients.

  1. Internal Communication: Liaise with the medical and administrative teams to ensure that case updates are shared, and any billing or treatment-related issues are addressed promptly.

  1. Patient Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for patients regarding the status of their personal injury case, providing professional and timely communication.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience in a paralegal role, medical case management, or working with personal injury patients is strongly preferred.
  2. Strong understanding of personal injury case procedures, including settlement processes and medical record management.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with attorneys, insurance companies, and medical staff.
  4. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  5. Proficiency in case management or medical record software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with the medical team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Prior experience working with personal injury attorneys or medical practices handling personal injury cases.
  2. Familiarity with medical billing and treatment documentation related to personal injury claims.

We are looking for a dedicated professional to help us ensure that our personal injury patients’ cases are managed efficiently and that all relevant information is tracked throughout the legal process. If you have experience in personal injury case coordination and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply!
