We are seeking a Plant Operations Director on a contract basis to help support their ongoing business needs. This role is on-site in Greenville, NC.



Responsibilities:

  • Ensure successful organizational performance within the assigned area of accountability
  • Maximize process efficiency to support operational needs
  • Set expectations, assign accountabilities, and measure performance against established standards
  • Develop and monitor action plans to improve performance outcomes
  • Conduct operations in alignment with principles of operational excellence
  • Provide direction and leadership to management and staff within the assigned area
  • Identify, coordinate, and adjust resources as needed
  • Track and analyze data to assess achievement of performance measures and provide reports to key stakeholders
  • Monitor adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure operational compliance with governing, accrediting, and regulatory bodies
  • Maintain clinical competency and provide direct patient care when necessary
  • Deliver responsive customer service and foster strong relationships with end users
  • Promote a culture of service excellence and employee empowerment
  • Direct, plan, and manage information technology infrastructure to ensure the continuous operation of critical systems
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and enhancement of standards-based technology infrastructure
  • Support IT Service Management (ITSM) adoption and ensure compliance with governance and ITSM processes
  • Monitor service delivery performance and take corrective action to optimize outcomes
  • Facilitate positive communication and relationships between departments and stakeholders
  • Plan and manage staffing and resource utilization to meet organizational needs
  • Continuously evaluate and improve service delivery through data-driven planning and implementation
  • Exercise independent judgment and analytical skills to recommend process improvements
  • Explore creative solutions to advance organizational goals
  • Review financial reports and adjust resource allocation and spending to maintain financial viability
  • Support compliance with financial controls and operational policies
  • Maintain positive employee relations and support timely resolution of personnel concerns
  • Ensure compliance with HR/OD policies, employment laws, and performance management standards
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to support employee performance and development
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies related to privacy, confidentiality, and legal risk management
  • Model professional confidentiality and discretion in all communications
  • Use change management practices to advance organizational progress
  • Promote a positive organizational culture through effective decision-making and performance management
  • Lead the selection, engagement, and development of staff, including performance management, professional development, and succession planning
  • Delegate initiatives and provide operational support as needed
  • Demonstrate leadership aligned with organizational values and competencies


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5-7 years of related experience
