With roots dating back to the 1800s, our Customer is a global professional services firm HQ’d in New York City with businesses in insurance brokerage, risk management, reinsurance services, talent management, investment advisory, and management consulting. Our Customer is seeking a Planview Solution Architect on a contract basis to support our Customer’s business needs. As a Solutions Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing effective solutions using Planview software. This role is hybrid setup with 2 remote days and 3 days onsite in New York, NY.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with finance/IT owners to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions using Planview software
  • Develop and present technical proposals, including architecture diagrams, to Business and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of solutions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams
  • Develop and maintain department Standard Operating Procedures, Standard Work Instructions, and training materials to promote excellence. This includes the governance detailed in company processes and documentation. Where possible, these should align to industry Best Practice
  • Be an active participant in Scrum calls as required
  • Support the ongoing development of Planview knowledge management and transfer, including the creation, enhancement and retirement of knowledge articles and documentation
  • Ensure the maximum utilization of the Planview technology platforms to deliver
  • Stakeholder Satisfaction, increase process maturity and cost optimization
Must-Haves:
  • At least 8 years’ experience in designing and implementing solutions using Planview (Portfolios, Enterprise Architecture and Agile Place) software
  • At least 3 full cycle Planview implementations
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and frameworks
  • Solid understanding of enterprise architecture principles and best practices
  • Experience with other project portfolio management (PPM) tools
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure
  • Certification in Planview or related technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Enterprise product integrations
