Job description

By building the last-mile logistics infrastructure for local commerce, they’re fulfilling their mission to grow and empower local economies.


We are seeking a Platform Innovation Account Manager on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote in NYC or the Tri-State Area (NY, NJ, CT), but requires domestic travel once per month to the Northeast region.



Responsibilities:

  • Manage restaurant partners (primarily SMBs) in the assigned region, conduct regular check-ins, and provide strategic guidance to help them grow.
  • Understand partner business needs, deliver tailored recommendations, and ensure adoption of platform products.
  • Collect and communicate product feedback and partner insights to cross-functional teams (Strategy, Operations, and Product).
  • Minimize churn by identifying opportunities for expansion and improving partner engagement.
  • Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Sales teams to ensure restaurants have an exceptional experience.
  • Maintain accurate partner information and track progress in Salesforce.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of professional experience with a track record of success and increasing responsibility.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Account management and/or project management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to empathize with customer needs and adapt strategies to improve satisfaction, retention, and adoption.
  • Comfortable working with technical products and hardware.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Slack, and Google Workspace.


Preferred

  • Experience supporting SMBs in the restaurant, retail, or tech industries.
  • Demonstrated success translating customer feedback into product recommendations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to “roll up your sleeves” and manage details while also influencing strategy.
