We are seeking a PMO Coordinator on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is onsite in Indianapolis, IN.
The purpose of the PMO Coordinator role is to ensure that all PMO aspects of the program deployment are considered, understood, and followed. The PMO Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the PMO deployment toolkit is adopted and all deliverables are completed. This role is in close contact with the global diagnostics PMO wave Lead and is a local deployment team member. The PMO Coordinator supports the local/site deployment lead, the local functional leaders, and the affected employees in all aspects of Project Management in managing and is accountable for owning the program management methodology and planning for the successful go-live of this deployment.
Responsibilities:
- Provides guidance, operationalizes and monitors the execution of work, constantly connecting delivery organization
- Responsible for program methodologies and Governance and to execute PMO processes
- Owns Backlog Mgmt process and tools
- Leads all deployment PMO activities in close collaboration with the Wave 5b Wave Lead for the Indianapolis Megasite for a single deployment stream.
- Drives all key PMO activities associated with the project and works closely with the PMO Wave Lead, Deployment Leads, technical teams, and implementation partner(s) to ensure successful delivery of the program.
- Incorporates and enhances functional/project specics to ensure milestones are properly linked to overall milestones (critical path)
- Works closely with the PMO Wave Lead in ensuring best practices in project management are applied throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinates activities in order for the project and functional teams to meet established milestones
- Executes the Change Control Process for the respective areas of responsibility
- Ensures any additional templates and documentation management, tools otherwise not provided by the program are in place to support the teams as needed
- Drives reporting activities and provide accurate status updates and reporting
- Execution of operational project management for the wave level activities
- Risk, Issue, Assumptions, Decisions Management and Scope management
- Schedule Management
- Management of Status & Progress Reporting
- Project Templates and Documentation Management
- Drive delivery of a all mandatory deliverables in time for the milestones
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in related specialization areas
- 5+years’ experience as a project manager
- Solid Project Management skills with a proven track record in the successful management of large project streams
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact across multiple levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to successfully direct, coordinate, and strategically integrate multiple streams of information and activities
- Demonstrated capabilities in teamwork and leadership on considerable change efforts
- Strength in project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken
- Ability to work across multiple international time zones
- Willing to stretch beyond your comfort zone to learn new skills in a rapidly changing environment and have the ability to build and maintain business relationships
- Experience in large IT Service Management Projects preferred
- Experience in a pharmaceutical environment is preferred preferred
