Job description

The Mom Project is excited to support Etsy with their search for a Post Production Manager to join their team on a contract basis.

About the Role:

Etsy is seeking a Post Production Manager to join our video content team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Content Production, this role is responsible for managing day-to-day post-production operations for Etsy’s global social video efforts across paid, organic, and influencer channels. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment and has a deep understanding of post-production workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the Brand Marketing video content post-production process from ingest to final delivery and archive
  • Assigning edits and creative reviews based on edit bandwidth and campaign milestones, ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Overseeing the versioning and localization processes for global content distribution
  • Sourcing and onboarding freelance post-production talent
  • QC’ing all assets prior to distribution, ensuring brand alignment, technical standards, and compliance across all platforms and formats.
  • Coordinating edit ingest and project creation
  • Creating post-production schedules and maintaining content trackers
  • Collaborating with the assistant editor to build and maintain a well-organized archive of previously delivered assets
  • Staying up to date with emerging trends in post-production and project management to optimize workflows

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience supporting social content production for a large brand, publisher, or agency, with recent experience specifically across paid and organic social campaigns and formats
  • Deep knowledge of the post-production pipeline, including editing, color grading, sound mixing, and motion graphics.
  • Expertise in Asana or similar workflow management platforms
  • Experience building and maintaining schedules, trackers, and post-production archives
  • Creative problem-solving capabilities with the ability to develop, administer, and evolve efficient workflows
  • A passion for organization and efficiency, with exceptional time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously across different channels and campaigns under tight deadlines
  • Proven experience in effectively delegating creative tasks
  • Working knowledge of social media video formats, aspect ratios, and delivery specifications
  • A meticulous focus on video quality standards
  • Clear, considerate, and effective communication skills - you enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams and building strong working relationships with peers and partners
  • A passion for supporting small businesses, creativity, and craftsmanship

Hours and Location:

  • M-F, 40 hours/week
  • While remote candidates will be considered, preference will be given to those who can work out of the Brooklyn office as needed (1-2x per week).

We offer a competitive salary range for this position. Most candidates who join our team are hired at the median of this range, ensuring fair and equitable compensation based on experience and qualifications.
