Job description

We are seeking a Post Production Manager II who will be responsible for overseeing the post-production process for our clients entertainment experiences, from initial concept to final delivery. You will work closely with creative and technical teams to ensure the highest quality of immersive content is achieved, maintaining schedules, budgets, and the latest in VR post-production technologies. This role is 100% Remote, PST Hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of Horizon Worlds, Applications, In-App Content, and Marketing Assets post production
  • Lead Post-Production efforts by managing all aspects of the post-production process for VR content, including editing, sound design, visual effects, and final rendering.
  • Collaborate closely with Producers, Production Companies, Developers, and Agencies to complete tasks, status reports, schedules, scope, risk assessment, resource requirements, etc.
  • Develop and collaborate on detailed production timelines, budgets, resource plans and objectives.
  • Support the communication needs of the product teams, stakeholders, and delivery teams with internal tools for knowledge sharing, document retention, and governance.
  • Lead weekly stand-ups and contribute to other ceremonies across multiple projects.
  • Manage relationships and communication with Project stakeholders, senior management, and other contributors. Help identify key barriers to a project's success and support in actively managing mitigation activities.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Maintain and improve the project management tools and project dashboards.
  • Facilitate meetings with team members across different disciplines in multiple time zones.
Must Haves:
  • Proven experience as production management or a passion for the industry
  • Project Management experience
  • High level of technical acumen needed with post-production softwares including final cut, Avid or Premier
  • Post production tools such as F-track, shot gun or MediaSilo, Adobe Photo shop or Figma
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving
  • A team player with great communication skills
Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree in relevant field preferred.
