Pre-Owned Warranty Manager (Hybrid - Warren, MI)

A partner of The Mom Project in the automotive industry is seeking a contract Pre-Owned Warranty Manager to help support their business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a subject matter expert on the used vehicle market, including products, customers, and competition within the segment.
• Act as the main point of contact for dealer warranty operations.
• Coordinate and meet with internal and external groups to enhance dealer and customer experience.
• Manage integration into corporate systems related to dealer and customer assistance, chat support, recall/field action tracking, and brand compliance.
• Perform data analytics on dealer retail sales and profitability, identify trends, and audit dealer compliance.
• Build and maintain high-trust relationships with business contacts, demonstrating integrity, respect, and teamwork.
• Collaborate with the pre-owned team to improve consumer and dealer experiences across all touchpoints.
• Identify and share pre-owned best practices with field teams and dealers.
• Communicate tools, programs, and information to both field teams and leadership.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years in sales and customer service.
• Automotive experience in the field or retail operations (preferred).
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize high-impact activities and minimize distractions.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and related tools.
• Strong project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations and take initiative to achieve results.
• Consumer-centric and results-driven mindset.
• Dealer/field fixed operations experience (recommended).
• Dealer/field finance and insurance experience (recommended).

Hours and Location:

• Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week
• Hybrid Role - Tues/Wed/Thurs in Warren, MI, Mon and Fri remote
