We are seeking a Pricing Analyst on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. This role is hybrid (4 days on-site and 1 day remote/week) in Houston, TX.


This role is responsible for providing pricing data and competitive insights in support of ETF, private markets, and mutual fund product lines. Responsibilities include overseeing the daily execution of pricing policies and procedures, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all pricing activities.


The position supports the day-to-day operations of the pricing function, including analysis, reporting, and adherence to established processes. Additional responsibilities include contributing to regulatory and committee reporting requirements and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of information to key stakeholders.



Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily security pricing and fair valuation activities, including ASC 820/FAS 157 leveling determinations and reporting
  • Review and research halted, suspended, and delisted securities to determine preliminary fair valuations
  • Analyze price exception reports and ensure accurate pricing is reflected in internal systems
  • Validate significant price movements through market value analysis
  • Maintain and enhance proprietary pricing methodologies and tools
  • Adapt pricing logic for different asset classes, vehicles, or geographies
  • Drive continuous improvements to pricing tools and reporting processes
  • Generate pricing recommendations using established methodologies
  • Organize and maintain pricing resources, tools, and documentation


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience in asset management, preferably in pricing, trade operations, or fund accounting
  • Understanding of asset management industry concepts and valuation practices
  • Ability to manage and analyze large, complex datasets
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain and manage data and code over time
  • Curious and proactive approach to learning industry trends
  • Team-oriented mindset with flexibility and openness to feedback
