We are seeking a Process Improvement Analyst on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is onsite in Cambridge, MA.

What You'll Do:

  • Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
    • Analyze and identify improvements for current transportation department processes
    • Document and study department processes utilizing Lean Six Sigma tools, time/motion studies and other techniques
    • Manage mid size projects and implementations, often focused on process modifications
    • Manage project team to develop and implement mid-sized process efficiencies
    • Use project management tools which may include a project plan, business case/cost benefit tracker, training and communication plan, etc.
    • Monitor transportation App - Wayleadr
  • Collect and house all data
  • Client based website
    • Monitor parking reimbursement SLAs
    • Manage benefit page for transportation
  • Relationship management:
    • Manage relationship between client and City of Cambridge and State of Massachusetts regarding transportation guidelines
    • Manage relationship between client and 3rd party consultants
  • Meetings and Presentations:
    • Quarterly Steering Committee
    • Quarterly Employee/Client Training Sessions - transportation does knowledge share on app use, general FAQ
    • New Hire Orientation 1x Month - entire transportation benefit overview
  • Research and gain in- depth understanding of current processes and formally documents new areas of process improvement
  • Analyze and benchmark process metrics against industry standards to ensure a “best practice” is achieved when possible
  • Assist management in the tracking and prioritization of projects in the Process Improvement Team pipeline
  • Partner with IT to create technology solutions which achieve direct process efficiencies
  • Train staff on new approved business processes
Must-Haves:
  • 3 - 5 years experience with process improvement, project management or other related experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, mobile applications and site management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – Executive Presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers
  • Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents – will need to pull data from various sources and enter on PowerPoint deck for presentation
  • Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations
  • Self-starter, business acumen, excellent decision-making, and able to operate under ambiguity at times
  • Strong emotional awareness and intelligence – ability to pivot and deal with critical exceptions
  • Certifications: Nice to have
  • A Bachelor's degree is a plus
  • A presentation portfolio to review upon submission is a plus
