Job description

Our Customer is a consumer financial services company headquartered in Connecticut. The company offers consumer financing products, including credit, promotional financing and loyalty programs, installment lending to industries, and FDIC-insured consumer savings products through the consumer bank, its wholly owned online bank subsidiary.


We are seeking a Process Surveillance Analyst on a contract basis to support our customer’s ongoing business needs. This role is 100% remote.



Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight of the surveillance framework to ensure alignment with enterprise-wide surveillance policies and standards.
  • Support quarterly Annual Plan refreshes, including surveillance planning documentation, annual plans, coverage maps, and process refreshes.
  • Utilize analytical tools to consolidate and summarize multiple data files, highlighting key changes quarter over quarter.
  • Provide surveillance leadership with clear insights into risks entering or leaving the scope based on surveillance policies and standards.
  • Conduct validations between Coverage Maps, Test Universe, Question Bank, and surveillance data sources.
  • Facilitate review of surveillance gaps with leadership to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with surveillance leaders to prepare data-driven insights related to Annual Plan changes.
  • Manage surveillance-related risks to support updates to Process Risk and Controls across business processes.
  • Facilitate the creation of new tests and test attributes within the surveillance management system.
  • Build user acceptance criteria and validate system updates to ensure functionality.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze large data sets.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to meet demanding deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
