Our Customer is a tech real-estate marketplace company with a portfolio of the largest and most vibrant real estate and home-related brands on the web and mobile. The company’s brands focus on all stages of the home lifecycle: renting, buying, selling, financing and home improvement. We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager on a contract basis to support our Customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote; standard Working hours at 8 am-5 pm PST; core hours are 9 am-3 pm PST.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with marketing, product development, business operations, and sales teams to advance value propositions for key listing marketing products
- Develop and evolve product roadmaps by identifying industry challenges, competitive offerings, product fit, and go-to-market strategies
- Own and grow premium listing and immersive virtual tour products, supporting both new and existing product adoption
- Build a deep understanding of how professional partners use consumer-facing products to differentiate and grow their businesses
- Use qualitative and quantitative research to develop strong value propositions that influence consumer-facing messaging and drive product purchases
- Create feature briefs for upcoming product launches by aligning with product teams on launch goals, target audiences, and key messaging
- Own messaging strategy for assigned products and evangelize messaging internally across teams
- Collaborate with product teams to bring products to market through strategic launch planning
- Partner with operations teams to guide pricing and packaging strategies
- Coordinate feedback loops with sales teams to capture customer needs, objections, and motivations from field insights
- Drive business goals tied to revenue growth and product adoption
- Work closely with field marketing partners to optimize enablement materials for sales and customer success teams
- Collaborate with growth marketing teams to craft messaging, identify assets, and execute strategies that communicate product value
- Act as the internal spokesperson for assigned products, building alignment and momentum across the organization
- Support strategic initiatives to push products upmarket
- Contribute to a major product launch within a defined contract timeline
Skills and Qualifications:
- 6–8 years of experience in product marketing with a focus on B2B products from inception through launch
- Proven experience within the real estate industry with an understanding of market segments and key stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to develop clear, cohesive value propositions and positioning that drive acquisition, adoption, and retention
- Strong leadership skills in ambiguous environments with experience building feedback loops across product, sales, and operations
- Advanced research skills with the ability to derive insights from qualitative and quantitative data
- Excellent project management and communication skills with the ability to influence decisions through data and cross-functional relationships
- Strategic, customer-centric, and hypothesis-driven approach to problem-solving in fast-paced technology environments
- Ability to ramp quickly in complex industries and short-term engagements
- Strong influencing and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
- Excellent messaging development and internal evangelization skills
- Familiarity with sales enablement, CRM, analytics, and collaboration tools preferred
- Experience working in both structured strategic environments and fast-paced, reactive settings
