We are seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager on a contract basis to join the product marketing team. This team is focused on driving complex, global programs and key workflows across the product marketing organization and spans global market feedback for product road mapping to go-to-market launches and in-market activations for marketing, commerce and communications solutions that support businesses of all sizes across the social media family of apps and services.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about social media and can thrive in an entrepreneurial and rapidly evolving environment. The candidate excels in an organization where constant reinvention is one of the main consistencies and has a proven ability to move fast and independently on high impact projects and inculcate the same culture to the team. The candidate is one of those unique and hard-to-find individuals who thinks creatively about everything, but also delivers high-impact results on complex programs or projects through exceptional executional skills. The candidate is dedicated to driving continuous operational efficiency and effectiveness to programs and processes, including embracing new tools, systems, and technology solutions that drive greater efficiency and streamline workflows in close partnership with cross-functional technology and operations business partners.
What You’ll Do:
● Drive global programs and projects across the business product marketing organization with cross-functional partners to drive impact, efficiency, effectiveness in support of business product marketing goals and priorities, including establishing deadlines related to overall team goals, ensures team is aware of key milestone dates, and communicates issues related to staying on schedule.
● Facilitate relationships between teams, moving process forward, finding resources, reworking schedules, raising concerns to appropriate owners early and resolving open issues that prevent progress.
● Manage workflow across the team and identify the need for additional resources when necessary.
● Track activities on projects against goals and establish a clear path and owners of next steps, including identifying dependencies and develop mitigation strategies, and predict roadblocks and obstacles and establish meetings or integration points.
● Provide day-to-day coordination and quality assurance across multiple project initiatives and teams.
● Communicate clearly across projects and people.
Must Haves:
● 5 years of relevant or related working experience in program management.
● Must have consulting experience background along with Project Management and Product Marketing experience
● Demonstrated track record in driving strategic processes, go-to-market programs, and/or projects with global, cross-functional teams. Proven ability to dynamically prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and working in a fast-paced environment.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner.
● Solid experience in fostering seamless cross-functional working relationships in medium to large organizations.
● Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and related project/program management applications to drive best practices.
● General knowledge of digital advertising, product marketing, and/or product/marketing communications (preferred).
● Experience working in a technology company or consulting firm, including experience in end-to-end product development lifecycle, and understand of with agile marketing methodologies (preferred).
Education:
● Bachelor’s degree required.
● Master’s degree (e.g., MBA, MS, etc.) preferred.
Hours & Location:
M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be remote while Covid restrictions are in place. The expectation is to be onsite at Menlo Park, CA location once it is deemed safe to do so.
